Aleksandar Pajkovski and Koce Petrov founded the company in 1994 and have, since then, been working towards achievement of their mutual vision - building a successful IT company which will be able, with the solutions it provides, to compete with the companies from the developed countries. The 19-year long history of Duna Computers has been a history of introducing new technologies to the Macedonian market.
1994
Development of fully integrated automatic identification and data collection solutions (AIDC). Duna Computers is still the sole provider of AIDS solutions on the Macedonian market.
1995
Opening of the first internet café in the Balkans. Aware of the internet future, they give the users an opportunity to acknowledge a whole new world.
1997
Establishment of the first digital printing house in Macedonia within the State Statistics Office, with support and training provided by Duna Computers. 700 000 voting IDs and voting lists were printed over a very short period of time, with the digital multifunctional devices bringing them closer to the “big printers” rank.
1997
Signing an agreement with EVN/ESM on Utility Meter reading solution and its integration in the existing system of 17 local branches.
1998
Positive assessment and approval of the project on tagging domestic animals with radio frequency identification (RFID), carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Cattle-breeding within the Faculty of Agriculture of Skopje, which was to be implemented as a national program on prevention from foot-and-mount disease.
1998
Implementation of own Sales Force Automation SFA solution in several big sale and distribution companies, the distributors of Nike, Gillete, Unilever products, Brewery Skopje and Coca –Cola.
2000
Implementation and successful testing of the pilot- project on census of population and housing, in cooperation with the State Statistics Office.
2002
Installation of a system for simultaneous interpretation and conference equipment in the Parliament of R. Macedonia.
2004
Certification under ISO 14001: 1996 standard, making it the first IT company in Macedonia with a Certificate in Environmental Management.
2006
Following the signing of the distribution agreement, it introduced the Apple brand on our market to the satisfaction of a large number of fans of its superior quality, modern design and unsurpassable performance. The first Apple Premium Reseller store was opened in the City Shopping Center in line with the prescribed Apple standards identical in the entire world.
2007
Successful implementation of the integrated information system Ultima Enterprise in the Public Enterprise Vodovod, which represents a complete solution of Duna Computers’ development team, covering the entire operation of the enterprise.
2008
Commencing with distribution of Garmin, a leader in the manufacture of GPS, navigation, communications and sonar products.
Duna Computers became a general importer of interactive whiteboards Clasus for Macedonia and Kosovo.
2009
A new Apple store was opened in Ramstore Mall. The first Apple Regional Training Center in the Balkans was opened that same year. Apple RTC offers free training for students and teacher from all universities in Macedonian and is conducted exclusively on Apple hardware.
2010
In May 2010, Duna Computers became an exclusive importer of Tentnology tents for Macedonia and Kosovo. In June 2010, Duna Computers introduced the first Macedonian ERP solution, the Ultima software with four basic packages- Distribution, Standard, Professional and Enterprise. In September 2010, Duna Computers became the sole authorized distributor and service center for Ricoh in Macedonia.
Duna Computers became a general importer of Digiton conference systems for Macedonia and Kosovo.
2011
Duna Computers transfered the company headoffice in new and modern office area on Bul. Oktomvriska revolucija in Skopje.
